College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) - Grant / Scholarship
The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a unique federally-funded educational support and scholarship program that helps more than 2,000 students annually from migrant and seasonal farmworking backgrounds to reach and succeed in college.  Participants receive anywhere from $750 to $4,000.00 of financial support during their freshman year of college and ongoing academic support until their graduation.  View the list of the (43) currently participating colleges/universities.

Eligibility

1 GED or HS Diploma
2. Migrant or Seasonal Farmworking Background
3. U.S. Citizen or U.S.Permanent Legal Residency 
4. Seeking 4-yr academic degree
5. Be determined to need the services/support provided.
6. Scholarship only applies to college freshman year.

Application Deadline:
Varies - inquire within each individual CAMP (grant)

Award Amount: 
Varies - inquire within each individual CAMP (grant) 
$750-$4,000.00 - Will depend on applicant's individual unmet need and individual grant (college)

Awards Granted: 
Approx: 2,000 annually; Each college listed on our CAMP Grant directory awards 25-100 scholarships annually

Each individual CAMP grant has its own unique application and selection process;

Note: Each College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a 100% federally-funded grant currently affiliated in 43 independent colleges/univerities.  MigrantStudents.org ONLY acts as an online referal source.
